Skyland – A Landscape Texture Overhaul
Skyland – A Landscape Texture Overhaul consists of many individual handcrafted objects created by Johnrose Atkins from scratch using photogrammetry. This texture pack also includes a hi-poly model made from scanned mesh. This mesh was generated using the Sotcs program used to create the original models for the dragon, unicorn and draenei. The resulting result is a high quality landscape with lots of detail. It also has a flat look to it, and it is made for both casual and hardcore gamers.
The main reason this mod is used for Skyland, compared to other similar mods, is because it’s a lot better than most of the other ones out there. It’s not photoreal, but it’s close. What I mean by that is, most of the other texture packs out there (apart from probably Vampire perk packs) use an unrealistically low poly count model and textures which are too flat, dull and ugly. Skyland on the other hand, although it uses some low poly texture models, its textures are of the highest quality and most of them were made using photogrammetrics.
This mod is completely free and you can use it on any character, whether vampire or not. I wouldn’t recommend using it on a character that already has a blood splatter on their face, but if you’re using Skyland on a character then it’s perfectly fine. One thing I’d like to point out is that if you want to use this texture on a character that already has a green Mohawk, you will have to edit the texture’s color to match the colour of your facial hair. Because most of the other Mohawks in the game are based on actual hairstyles of famous celebrities, it might be a little bit painstaking to get the colours to match up properly.
