Quickly cut, edit and paste video
Have you ever wanted to cut out all of the adverts in a movie file? If so, you can with SimpleMovieX, which automatically searches for commercials inside a movie.
SimpleMovieX automatically scans movie files for adverts and then marks where they are. You can then use SimpleMovieX to cut out the ads using a basic editor. Most major formats are supported, including MOV, MPEG, AVI and MP4. It also includes a handy batch converter that allows you to choose batches of files and the formats you’d like to convert to.
SimpleMovieX also includes the possibility to add your own chapters to allow you to mark out direct access to sequences inside the movies or to create compilations of movies or songs. An audio syncing tool also helps iron out audio problems and finally, an audio waveform or thumbnail view helps you find a sequence in a long movie.
The developer of SimpleMovieX considers it a worthy competitor to QuickTime Pro and in terms of looks and feel, it is very similar with the added advantage that it supports far more formats. Unlike the former however, it doesn’t feature track level editing, sharing with friends and automation of workflow although the developers claim these features are all coming soon. This is a demo version of SimpleMovieX but is fully functional although its much slower than the full version and is subject to chapter marker limitations.
SimpleMovie X is a powerful tool that’s ideal for anyone that wants to remove ads from movie files or audio recordings.
