Free upgraded follower mod
Simple Multiple Followers (Advanced Version) is a free Skyrim mod that lets you add more than one follower for up to 10 NPCs and pets. It works well with some other add-ons, such as Battle Fatigue and Injuries, Eat and Sleep, and Horse Commands. You can link them to your account, while you also have the option to banish them at any time. Another similar mod you can try is UFO – Ultimate Follower Overhaul.
There are plenty of game characters you can set as followers, even ones that you meet on quests. For NPCs that won’t follow due to a script loading issue, you can force-recruit them through a command. It does have some conflict with a few mods, but overall, most of them are compatible.
Increase your followers
In the vanilla version of Skyrim, you can only have one follower at a time, usually when you’re on a mission. Simple Multiple Followers gives you more flexibility to add up to 10 pets and 10 NPCs. When you’re running through dungeons and valleys, it will look like you have a small army around you, ready to deal damage to hardened enemies. It also contains content from DLCs so that you can add any character who you favor.
Manage follower settings
Some of the latest updates to Simple Multiple Followers include new commands and tags for greater versatility. For instance, you can improve their trap avoidance, let them vault over traps, or change their clothes settings. It also lets you set default options when the scenery or weather changes, such as vampire followers drawing a hood over their heads in sunlight, rain, or snow.
Game requirements
If you want to try Simple Multiple Followers, there are a few mods you’ll need to install first. If you’re installing from Nexus Mods, you’ll need Fuz Ro D-oh – Silent Voice. For off-site installations, you should download SKSE.
A call to arms
Simple Multiple Followers (Advanced Version) is ideal for gamers who enjoy the follower feature but want more characters around them. It adds to your force and attack points, making combat areas easier to clear. You’ll still receive the experience for your kills, so you don’t have to worry about taking longer to level up.
