Compress and encrypt files and folders easily
Sending files securely is a growing concern with an increasing number of potential threats to your privacy lurking on the net.
The problem is that whenever you download software to encrypt data, the recipient then has to download something to open the files. Not so with Silver Key however – just right-click the file or folder you wish to send and select the “Create EXE Parcel” command. The program then compresses and encrypts your data but crucially, adds a small decryptor. The person on the receiving end can use this decrypter so unpack the files and read whatever is within them. Of course, it still requires the installation of the Silver Key utility but at least it’s very quick, small and doesn’t require visiting any websites to get it. The developers are so confident in the security of their product that they recommend it for corporate users. However, it may be a good idea to add the Silver Key Shell to create more advanced parcels which can create more powerful encryption packages.
This is a powerful encryption solution. Unfortunately it still does require installation of a decrypter but it’s much less hassle than others.

If you need to send sensitive data over the Internet you should encrypt it first. Anybody knows this. Right, but what about the other side? Your correspondent will probably not like the idea of buying and learning some software just to decrypt your file. No problem here if you are using Silver Key!
Right-click the file or folder you wish to send and select the “Create EXE Parcel” command. Silver Key compresses and encrypts your data and adds a small decryptor. Your correspondent doesn’t need to install any decrypting program because the parcel already contains all the needed software.
