Save humanity with this electrical puzzler
Shocker: The electrifying super hero is a simple yet difficult indie puzzle game. You play Shocker, who has been turned into ‘pure electrical energy’ and sent into something called the ‘Mother Wire’ to restore the flow of electricity to humanity.
That probably sounds a bit crazy, and it’s hard not to suspect this story was created after the game, not the other way round. The game itself is a simple looking puzzle game in which you have to move around the play area connecting squares in such a way that you can reach the exit. The puzzle is working out the often complex route you’ll need to take around the squares to be able to hit the exit.
Control is via the cursor keys, and couldn’t be simpler. Everything is explained over the first few levels, which is useful, as it’s quite an odd idea. Once you have understood how it works, it becomes interesting, and some of the levels are complicated enough to need quite a lot of thought. There is a level editor so you can create your own puzzles if you want.
Shocker: The electrifying super hero is a fun little puzzle game, which is only marred slightly by being a bit short.
