A new way of creating IT-focused web tutorials
If you need to make a tutorial, you have to make it interesting enough to stop your audience falling asleep. Screenbooks are a great way to achieve this, combining screenshots and other images with text so that you can make sureyour presentations make an impact.
Screenbook Maker is an application that helps you to create screenbooks, allowing you to easily combine screenshots and information and export it, email or publish on the web. Screenbook Maker has an easy to use interface with two parts – a word processor that looks like any other, and an image section where you can view your screenshots or add other images.
Screenbook Maker comes with a huge array of extra information that ranges from using Joomla to making HTML help documents and publishing the screenbook on the web.
Creating a screenbook with Screenbook Maker is very easy, although not all features are as intuitive as the word processor function and you might have to read the help guide for clarification. The developer has cleverly showcased Screenbook Maker’s functions by creating the help interface as a screenbook, but unfortunately, I didn’t find it the most comfortable format to read, which would put me off using it as a presentation. Even so, the resulting documents are clear and self-explanatory, so if you are looking for a new method of creating tutorials – especially presentations that focus on software or IT – you should definitely give Screenbook Maker a try.
Screenbook Maker provides a new way of getting your message across.
