Practice Sanctum of Domination with this free game
Sanctum of Pineapples is a free action video game wherein you can practice without much hassle. Developed by TacticalAirHorse, this 2D web browser game is a fun simulator for raid mechanics in the Sanctum of Domination instance from World of Warcraft: Shadowlands.
Similar to the developer’s Castle Pineapplia game, Sanctum of Pineapples features all raid mechanics in its designated raid location and simulates all boss fights there. Not only does it act as a guide on positioning and attacks, but it also displays what to do during these phases. It’s only single-player, though, so you can’t practice with others.
No need to go unprepared
World of Warcraft or WoW is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by Blizzard Entertainment. First released in 2004, this game is set in the Warcraft fantasy universe as a sequel to Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. Its commercial success led to numerous expansion packs, and the eighth one is Shadowlands, which opens up the Realm of the Dead as a playable region.
This expansion introduces the Sanctum of Domination raid, which features ten bosses you can fight with your guild or teammates. However, raid mechanics are always tricky the first time around, and it is commonplace for players to read up on the Encounter Journal before attempting. This is where Sanctum of Pineapples is of great aid as it teaches you the various mechanics you ought to expect during the fights.
Appearance-wise, this game is silly and unassuming with its fruit-themed names and sprites. However, its usefulness is actually well-praised as the tutorials included help players remember what to do in certain phases. You can’t customize the scenarios themselves—such as your damage output, abilities, and equipment—but you can adjust the difficulty with just two toggleable options. Additionally, the controls are pretty easy to grasp.
A user-friendly tool
All in all, Sanctum of Pineapples is a great testing tool for WoW, who’d like to challenge the Sanctum of Domination. While it doesn’t have in-depth customization to accurately portray your character, it’s useful enough for learning how the bosses fight and how to survive any party wipe mechanics. It’s pretty easy to access, as well, since it’s a browser game by default—although you can also download it on the PC.
