Sanctuary Lives Again – New Survival Game With Realistic Settlements
There’s a new mod Sanctuary Lives Again – New Sanctuary designed by GreekRage – I think it’s the best mod for any Vanilla game. The settlement is created with real life values of any city over thousands of years. The mod is well balanced and it’s easy to use for the first time user, so first time users don’t have to worry about any nasty surprise in the future. It’s well balanced between the two factions – good/bad – making sure you don’t have the one sided war in the middle of the game.
The settlement is created by actual Greek immigrants in the USA. The story is set around 40 years before the events in the games, when the whole world has been affected by the nuclear holocaust. Sanctuary was built near the radio station where you first started out in vanilla Fallout, so it’s like a complete circle. The mod is very well designed, with many different options for players – settlements, buildings, environment, quests and perks.
The most amazing part is that the architecture looks very real, even though you can’t actually touch anything. If you walk in a little closer you can smell the wood and metal. The music is pleasant, made especially for this mod, and the voice actor for the settlers, Patrick Morley, does a very good job, not as good as in other similar mods but still very good. The biggest problem in this mod is the fact that it doesn’t have any content made for the G.I. Mod and therefore has to be integrated with vanilla assets.
