Custom themes for Samsung
Samsung dropped another personalization service to its users, this time allowing them to customize their phone themes. Theme Park is another module to Samsung’s Good Lock customization app that gives users a simple and quick way to create themes and install them on their phones easily. If you want to elevate your system-wide theme, this module is worth a try.
Do-it-yourself phone theme
When Samsung offered its Good lock app years ago, the software was limited to configuring the lock screen, recent menus, and notification. Then it updated and included the customization of the status bar, lock screen clocks, and even the edge light colors. But for system-wide theming, users had to rely on downloading the pre-made themes from Samsung’s app store, Galaxy Apps, or use the available ones from Samsung Themes. Well, not anymore.
With the addition of the Theme Park module, Samsung device users can now create their themes and install them on their phones easily. The program selects dominant colors from your wallpaper, and automatically creates a theme based on the user’s style and colors. All you have to do is select an image for wallpaper, select the main color and style you want, and click the install. Once done, you only need to click the Apply button, and you have your customized theme.
Theme Park generates five color suggestions. The software has a preview where you can see what the theme will look like on your phone. However, the previews do not accurately match the actual screen.
Easy setup and usage
At a glance, Theme Park may seem to feature several bells and whistles. However, setting up is actually quite simple. Upon launching, you’ll meet a single Design New Theme button. Tap the button, and the app will automatically catch five of the most prominent colors in your current wallpaper.
The app will then give you a bunch of options for what you’d like the main color of the theme to be, in case you are not happy with what it has provided. More, you will also have the option to customize the styling of the theme, as well as the icon and tray colors.
Theme Park works well on One UI-powered phone. However, that does not mean that the software is free from drawbacks. For one, the high-resolution wallpapers may cause the app to crash. Also, system-wide dark mode will become unavailable once you apply the customized theme.
Customize your phones
Theme Park saves you from relying solely on system-provided themes, as well as the ones available on app stores. More, it simplifies the process of creating personalized themes, allowing you to create your own with no coding and photo-editing skills needed. For One-UI device owners, this is a great way to customize your device’s look.
