Escape a stalker in this free horror game
Saiko No Sutoka is a free arcade game from Habupain where you will have to escape a seemingly abandoned building, where a yandere is hunting you down. A yandere is typically a character in Japanese media that depicts an overly obsessed, lovesick character.
With this sort of persona acting as one of the main characters in Saiko No Sutoka, you can expect there to be some morbid, horror elements at play. The gameplay is also quite similar to The Man From The Window, where players will have to interact with various elements and explore different areas.
Find your way out
Saiko No Sutoka starts off eerily, with your character left in an empty room with cryptic messages scattered around. Your goal is to escape the school building and avoid getting caught by your stalker. Players will have to search for clues around the school to help them restore power and find the keys to the exit. There are numerous areas ready for you to explore so keep your eyes peeled.
The game’s controls are pretty easy to learn since all you need to do is swipe in the direction you want to move toward and click on the dedicated button to interact with certain elements. However, the camera settings are quite frustrating to maneuver, especially since you’ll need to constantly readjust the camera anytime you want to face a different direction and the view is too zoomed in.
Other than this, though, this horror title provides an exciting experience that greatly immerses you in the in-game world. The thrilling plot and creepy atmosphere will easily get your heart racing. You can also choose between two difficulty settings, which vary in the speed at which the stalker moves and the availability of cues that let you know when she’s nearby.
A heart-racing thriller
Players can enjoy the heart-racing experience brought by Saiko No Sutoka, especially when playing in hard difficulty mode. With numerous explorable areas and various puzzles to solve, this horror game offers more than just a few jumpscares to give you a fright. Although the camera angles are a nuisance to adjust, the overall atmosphere of your surroundings will still have you feeling you’re right in the middle of the story.
