A Round Up of Rodeo Stampede: Sky Zoo Safari

Ever wanted to build a zoo in the sky full of the beasts that you’d usually associate with the wide African savanna? Well, in Rodeo Stampede: Sky Zoo Safari you can! This free game offers in app purchases and has cute graphics and game play that will keep adults and children entertained as they round up the likes of wildebeest, giraffes and zebra – all with little more than a lasso in their hand.

How Does Rodeo Stampede: Sky Zoo Safari Shape Up?

One of the first things you need to take on board with this game is just how crazy the premise is. Your zoo is nothing more than a flying helipad which attracts visitors in greater numbers depending on the exact combination and rarity of the animals on board its enclosures. Looking more like a cowboy than an African park ranger, your character sports a ten gallon hat and sits astride the likes of stampeding buffalo, elephants, ostriches and many more. The idea is to hang on long enough to tame these bucking beasts – hence the rodeo style of game mentioned in the title. Once you have hopped from one animal to the next and the stampede is finally at an end, you then enter the zoo based part of the game. In this, your flying zoo enclosures need to be filled with your new found four-footed friends. After this, its time to let the public in to gaze in wonder at your menagerie. The idea is to expand the zoo to attract new customers and gain access to different levels.

Game Play and User Interface

This game is designed for devices with Android 4.1 and up installed on them. It is rated at Pegi 3, so it is good for just about everybody. The crocodiles that you need to avoid from time to time can be tricky to get out of the way of, so fast reactions are sometimes needed, but overall the game is nothing more than a dodge and move operation in which you pass over various terrains viewing the action from above. Although some of the graphics could be described as blocky, this is part of the visual charm of the game design and not really something that will put off the occasional gamer. The game is available at no cost, but there are in app purchases which may tempt you. These are not necessarily expensive, but you can do without them so long as you take a patient approach to building your zoo. The available purchases are really nothing more than paid-for shortcuts and probably best avoided. Rodeo Stampede: Sky Zoo Safari Shape will take up 63 MB of memory on your device, once downloaded.

Rodeo Stampede: Sky Zoo Safari Shape in Conclusion

This is a fun game which offers some novel ideas, even if it seems to have a split personality with a cowboy-style round up taking place in the heart of Africa for a flying zoo. That said, there’s nothing in the game that you could not find in others. Some bugs reported in earlier versions have been fixed now, so why not check it out for yourself?
