The Rail Workers’ Compensation Program (RWCP) aims to help workers get back to earning what they were earning before the pandemic, by helping them access and manage their compensation claim information in the app. The app supports the reading of both virtual and physical rail workers’ cards. You can also view your work restrictions, blocks, and suspensions, and you can check in and verify your workers before entering a worksite.

How to use the app

In order for the app to be able to read your physical rail worker card, you’ll need to hold it up to the light and let the app do its work. You’ll be able to see whether the card is readable and, if so, what it says.

If the card is not readable, you can use the app to generate a QR code that you can print out and show to the card reader.
