Renown is a fast-paced game that takes place in a medieval setting. It is a multiplayer survival game in which players create a medieval character and attempt to survive in an open-world setting full of other players who will be competing for the same resources.

The medieval setting may seem a bit of a specific niche, but Renown’s core gameplay is that of a fairly typical online survival multiplayer. So on that basis alone, fans of that type of game will likely enjoy this one. For players who are not fans, this type of game can be frustrating, as their hard work can seem wasted when other players raid their bases.
