Improve Cognitive Ability
RecoverBrain therapy for aphasia provides a set of cognitive exercises that will improve language comprehension and memory as well as auditory working memory. Each training session consists of 3-5 cognitive tasks that will help patients to understand the meaning of presented information. A set of questions is given to each patient.
The training tasks are adaptive and the difficulty level of each task is determined according to the individual patient’s performance.
Each cognitive training module consists of different tasks that the patient must perform. These tasks require a combination of logical and memorization processes to be successfully solved. The user’s answer is presented, and if it is correct, the system will move to the next level.
The answers are collected by a computer, which then informs the user of whether his or her answer is correct.
Each task is presented in a specified way, and the response time is indicated. If a user makes a mistake, the system informs the user that this task is not solved and that he or she should try again.
When a task is solved, the user is informed of whether his or her answer is correct.
After completing each session, the user receives feedback about the current level of difficulty of his or her cognitive task.
