Free avatar game

Rate my Avatar is a free experience for Roblox players created by Names are Not Important. This game was created to give players the opportunity to rate each other’s avatars. Despite the rather generalized concept, Rate my Avatar is incredibly popular, having seen over 95.9 million players since its launch. The game has been favorited over 330,000 times, and, at the time of writing, the game had almost 2,000 active players.

Roblox is full of weird and wonderful games that have interesting mechanics and concepts. If you’re looking for something fun to do to pass time, try Ride a Box Down Stuff. If you prefer alternatives to massively popular gaming titles, try Read Desc Pls Basically FNF, a fan-made Roblox experience inspired by Friday Night Funkin.

What’s happening?

Honestly, Rate my Avatar is very different from what the title or description suggests and seems to have taken on a sort of first-person question-and-answer forum format. While the game may have started as a platform where players rate each other’s avatars, players can now ‘rent’ booths within the game and advertise their skills or pose questions to other players.

Players do still rate each other, though. However, the most popular rating booth seems to be those involving feet. This leads to the question, ‘What’s happening?’ popping up relatively frequently.

Booths

The concept is simple; all you need to do is walk up to a vacant booth and click the ‘rent’ button. These booths don’t cost any money or in-game currency to rent, and once you’ve rented a booth, you’ll be prompted to choose a title and image for it. These can be literally anything, and most people choose to employ statements here that provoke conversation or give them a place to share the knowledge they’ve amassed. Another popular choice for a booth is ‘ask me about cats.’

Interesting concept

With Roblox being such a community-driven platform, it makes sense for games or experiences of this nature to pop up. The game feels a little like a market of sorts, with people offering to rate various parts of your Robloxian’s anatomy – primarily feet.

As strange as this concept and setup is, it can lead to truly interesting conversations, or at the very least, moments that you can meme the life out of.
