RajAAAngan: A Nutritional and Health Program for Children in Rajasthan
RajAAAngan is a program developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) under the Integrated Services Program in Rajasthan. Its main objective is to improve the nutritional and health level of children in the state, laying the foundation for their proper psychological, physical, and social development. The program aims to reduce child mortality, sickness, malnutrition, and dropout rates by promoting child development and providing nutrition and health education.
RajAAAngan facilitates effective coordination between various departments and children through Anganwadi centers. It focuses on training mothers to meet the general health and nutritional requirements of these centers. The program also ensures timely payment of honorarium and other types of payments to the beneficiaries, which are closely monitored.
With its comprehensive approach and collaboration with NIC, RajAAAngan is expected to have a significant impact on the overall well-being of children in Rajasthan.
