R-Type Watch Face: A Wear OS Exclusive

R-Type Watch Face is a customizable clock widget for Wear OS. However, it can also be used as a clock widget on mobile devices. Do keep in mind that it is not compatible with Samsung Gear S2/S3 running on Tizen OS. The watch face offers a range of features such as clock widget, day & month, watch battery, mobile battery, and weather (requires phone app). The settings can be accessed through the Wear OS app on your mobile device.

The free version of R-Type Watch Face offers a lot of customization options such as design colors on watch and mobile, 12/24 hours mode, and the option to display brand name or not. Additional free settings on phone include switching between small/big/translucent/opaque cards (Wear 1.5x only) and choosing between two weather providers (Yr & OpenWeatherMap). The premium version offers even more customization options like choosing your own title in place of “R-TYPE”, blending background with colors, and defining a secondary timezone for digital display.
