an easy way to share screenshots with everyone
Puush is a piece of software connected to the Puush.me data hosting service. What it does is simple: you click, drag and drop over a region of your screen or a window, and moments later, you have a screenshot of that, uploaded and ready to share with other friends.
Slow And Steady
When you take a screenshot with Puush, it sometimes requires a few seconds to send it to over to Puush’s servers. This can occur both because of your Internet connection or because of Puush’s own servers, and it’s usually not a problem, but this delay makes it hard to take many screenshots at once. There also aren’t a ton of options, for shrinking down the file size of the screenshot for example or quickly taking multiple screenshots of a specific region: this is a very simple piece of software, which has benefits and drawbacks.
Pressing Onward
There are lots of screenshot tools out there, and most of them are far better than the built-in screenshot capabilities most operating systems include. While Puush wouldn’t be an appropriate tool to use for sharing huge amounts of data, or for many business uses at that, it’s a great tool if you just want to point out something in the background of a photo to a friend, or share an image from a video they can’t see in their country. And these sorts of situations come up often enough.
