Free-to-play next generation battle royale

PUBG: NEW STATE is a free-to-play battle royale game that brings the hit PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds to the next generation. Developed by KRAFTON Inc, you can expect all the action you’ve come to know and love from previous entries, plus an all-new map where you try to survive with new tools, weapons, and vehicles.

It’s a great alternative to other shooting and battle royale games like Call of Duty: Mobile or Rules of Survival. However, this PUBG entry boasts ultra-realistic graphics. Thanks to its Global Illumination technology, you’ll have to hunt and survive in visually stunning locations.

An immersive, dynamic experience

Aside from its next-generation graphics, PUBG: NEW STATE introduces a new massive, open-world battleground that surpasses other PUBG games that precedes it. Inside the “New State,” new vehicles are also made available, letting you travel in both function and style across the map. All these features force players to rethink their strategies and find new ways to outlive and outgun all their enemies.

In terms of gameplay, players familiar with the battle royale genre for mobile won’t have that much difficulty since it also employs the same button layout. However, it’s still recommended to go through the quick tutorial since new gameplay features can turn the tide of the game. You can now dodge attacks, call drones, and request support. Additionally, new in-game objectives can give you that timely advantage.

A slight inconvenience for the all-around gamer, however, is the music. Some players have reported finding the new electronic music soundtrack a bit too noisy and even distracting at times. However, other fans argue that this might be caused by a hangover from the previous soundtracks, which are suspenseful and entirely action-based. Aside from that, the game doesn’t suffer from any issues reported in its port for other systems.
