Early access e-sport management game
Pro Gamer Manager 2 is an early access simulator game. Build and develop a team of pro gamers as they compete to become the number one e-sport team in the world.
Points for honesty
While it is sometimes hard to judge an early access game, the developers of Pro Gamer Manager 2 saved everyone some time by simply abandoning the game five days after launch. The team stated that sales were not good enough to justify continuing development and so simply walked away from the project and anyone unlucky enough to hope for future updates. While refreshingly honest, the game left up for sale is a buggy mess. What gameplay exists is dull and reminiscent of a mobile title. Players plan their players progress through a fairly limited selection of skills, design a home, attend matches and find sponsors. It all amounts to micro-management without any real strategy or thought. Constant and infuriating bugs will mean your team loses progress or the game will just crash completely. While the idea behind Pro Gamer Manager 2 is solid and could be an interesting and challenging game, the obvious cash grab and run approach by the developers make it a title to be avoided.
Poor development
Pro Gamer Manager 2 is one of many abandoned early access titles, different only in that the team behind it had the courage to tell potential buyers of this fact.
