You can modify the graphics and sound settings as you deem fit, allowing you to test the limits of your device. COLOPL, Inc. has aimed to incorporate ambitious and cutting-edge technology into PRINCIPLES, making for high-definition graphics and stunning effects. The game is still in its infancy, though, setting the stage for more and better features.
Immersive and impressive environment
With a universe reminiscent of Final Fantasy and graphics that are at par with MMORPGs like Dragon Raja, PRINCIPLES is surely an app that adventure game enthusiasts have to watch out for. However, as mentioned, it’s still under development, and more features are sure to follow. Plus, the base file is pretty hefty and the high graphics quality makes it laggy on older devices or those with low RAM.
The controls are pretty straightforward. You will see a circular joystick on the lower left side of the screen that you can use to move around. Some actions can be triggered with special floating buttons that will appear on the right side of the screen when you get within the vicinity of certain items. These actions will have you jumping across ledges or destroying crates, among others.
In the first scenes, you will explore an abandoned-looking cave. There are ruins and traces of previous human settlements, which sets up an intriguing and eerie atmosphere as you explore it. Additionally, if you’re quite meticulous about the sound effects in a game, you will enjoy the authentic footsteps, dripping water, rustling clothes, and more. The mystifying background sound also elevates the overall experience.
A high-definition adventure
PRINCIPLES challenges the limits of devices and quite literally at that. Ensure that you have enough space and data before attempting to play it or else you won’t get to enjoy its rich world in its entire glory.
