You can choose from three different modes in which to play the game. In the 8-ball mode, you have to score points by shooting the cue ball into the 8-Ball pocket. The 9-ball mode is similar to the 8-ball mode except that you have to aim at the 9-Ball. If you want to play Blackball mode, you have to shoot at the Blackball to make it disappear completely. The way to score points is by shooting the target ball into a pocket. The target ball will disappear after you make a shot.
