In the developer’s own words, this is “a tile based platforming game about building maps for tile based platforming games”. In other words, the monkey of funk is dropped into a disorganized and chaotic world, and it is your job to impose order on the mess.

Polychromatic Funk Monkey’s greatest assets are undoubtedly the fun, colorful graphics and the undeniably funky soundtrack. Your monkey is controlled with the arrow keys and as you move you will pass little pop-up signs that tell you what you need to do. There’s also a teleport to the start feature, in case you get hopelessly lost.

This original little game has a few options, mainly related to the game audio. There’s no way you would want to mute the music though, as it is practically the main reason for playing. There’s no telling how long Polychromatic Funk Monkey stays interesting, but if you are looking for a timewaster that’s just a little bit different, check it out!
