Zany and entertaining arcade style game

Although plants and zombies are not natural enemies, a breed of plants has been developed that can take on an onslaught of zombies that are hell bent on eating your brains. Your job is to strategically position your zombie fighting plants around your house and let them do battle.

A tower defence genre game with a fun twist

Basic gameplay will keep you busy, but it does take a good bit of work, before you can really start to get challenged at a higher level. The game releases new environments and units on a regular basis and there are interesting diversion games, such as puzzles, minigames and survival mode. Zombies attack your house and you are armed at the top of your screen, with the different types of plants which you can engage as your defences. Sunlight falls intermittently and is required for your plants to do battle, so place them carefully. The basic plants shoot peas down the row they’re planted in, so you’ll need a horizontal line of them. Then as the zombie pressure builds up, you can engage your more sophisticated plant defences, such as projectile launchers, attack amplifiers, defensive barriers and single-use weapons that carry a real punch. With each success, you’re rewarded with a new plant and minigame.

A well put together game, fun and engaging

All the elements in this game, from bonus extras, gameplay and presentation, work extremely well and seem to follow the basic philosophy of a simple to play game with well thought out complexity.
