Plant for Prosperity: An App for Plantation Monitoring in Punjab

Plant for Prosperity is an Android application developed by Punjab IT Board to monitor plantation activities under the Urban & Peri-urban Forest Policy. The app is designed for all government departments in Punjab involved in plantation, with the Punjab Forest Department having the overall supervisory role in monitoring the implementation of the policy across the province.

With Plant for Prosperity, end-users can easily record plantation activities, including other departmental supervision, and comprehensive supervision by the Punjab Forest Department. The app also allows the Forest Department to assign plantation targets to other government departments and engage their field formations for the supervision/validation of plantations made against the assigned targets.
