Co-op action strategy game
Pit People is an action strategy game. Developed by The Behemoth of Castle Crashers fame, this latest game tells a silly story of farming and blueberries with turn-based combat and co-op modes.

With art from Dan Paladin and development from The Behemoth, Pit People has an immediate resemblance to some of their previous indie hits. Beyond the cartoony character design and overall appearance is a radically different game however. The main gameplay consists of turn based combat within a grid. A team of heroes is created by the player as they advance through the story, facing off against various enemy forces. Basic RPG features like a levelling system and items are also involved, providing a satisfying level of strategy behind the silly plot. A devilish narrator explains and becomes involved within a story full of sight gags and general ridiculous situations. This mix of comedy and solid gameplay makes Pit People another hit for the studio, easily standing besides their better known games. The welcome focus on co-op, both local and online, also carries over from older titles.

Pit People is a charming strategy game which will appeal to a whole range of players. Adjustable difficulty make it perfect for strategy fans while the comedy allows casual players to jump in.
