This mod for Dragon Age: Origins alters personal visual effects – or aura animations – around characters so that they are less annoying during immersive gameplay. This mod primarily accomplishes this by shortening the duration of the animations.

These visual effects or auras are often seen as glowing, floating particles that have been programmed to perform and wear out their welcome. They generally accommodate numerous personal buffs such as Death Magic, Arcane Might, Blood Magic, Cleansing Aura, Shimmering Shield, Fade Shroud, and Spell Shield, to name a few.

If you want this change to take effect while you are loading a save game, do toggle your current auras off and then on again.
