An interactive party game for Twitch chat

Parlor is an interactive party game that is designed to work with Twitch chat, allowing streamers to offer an interactive element to their broadcast. The app features two game modes that each represent different ways to interact with an audience, allowing the streamer to tailor the experience to suit their strengths as an entertainer.

Users will need to have a Twitch account in order to take advantage of this app. Unlike tools like XSplit Broadcaster, Parlor is a tool that works inside the stream as part of the broadcast, meaning a tool like XSplit will still be needed. It’s easier for streamers to make their audience feel like part of the stream.

Quiz viewers

At its core, Parlor is a quiz game where the viewers of a Twitch stream must guess the word. They are helped by the streamer, who will give them clues as to what that word is using different methods, depending on the game mode chosen.

The app’s interface gives the streamer an overview of who is guessing what their guesses are. It also lets them know if anyone correctly guesses.

Interact with viewers

The app serves as a way of making a Twitch stream more interactive, which can greatly improve viewing numbers as the viewers feel more included. The streamer can also choose to award the winners with prizes if they choose.

The two game modes included are “Tell Me,” in which the streamer must give verbal clues without saying words.“Show Me” is the other, and the streamer can only give visual clues rather than verbal ones.

A convenient quiz stream

While Parlor is serving a function that the streamer could essentially do themselves, it makes the process much more convenient. The streamer doesn’t need to worry about missing guesses, especially since it shows chat guesses in the interface.
