The new concept in web page design enabling you, the author, to have complete control over how your pages are built, assembling them from files containing common code and page specific content.

PageBlender encourages a different approach to building web pages. Each of your pages, for example, probably has a set of navigation elements and perhaps an area which is common to all pages such as a contact panel. These common elements need to be shared somehow. You could (and may already) use frames but these impact on the visitor. Server side includes are excellent but you may not have access to these. The answer is PageBlender.

Common elements can be split out into separate files and these can be merged back into the page at build time with each page controlling exactly how it is built through the use of variables. Even the merge files can decide what to include in a page based on logic within itself.

The special commands which PageBlender uses to control what gets onto your pages are few and easy to learn and, with autocomplete in the editor and a full list available for insertion from the menu, you can be up to speed in no time. Full, context sensitive help and a manual available to read on line or download (PDF format) ensure that your memory can be jogged when it’s needed.

PageBlender requires a knowledge of HTML as it’s editor based, and produces pages ready for upload to your server. The best way to find out more is to try it, it’s free for thirty days. And, don’t forget, we can help with your first page free of charge during your evaluation.
