More Orcs to slay in this great action strategy game

Orcs Must Die! 2 is an action strategy game, where the aim is simple: kill the orcs! The first game was great fun, with great gameplay, humor and graphics. This sequel continues that quality, without being a revolution.

In Orcs Must Die! 2, you control a mage in 3rd person, either in single or cooperative two player mode. Your task on each map is to stop the waves of orcs that stream from rifts. It’s a fast paced tower-defence game. You have time to prepare traps before the horde appears, then you use your mage to keep back the orcs as they attack.

The sound is great, with a lot of humor in the voice acting. The graphics are cartoonish, well animated and clear even when there’s lots going on. As you progress, you’ll open up new traps, weapons, trinkets and vanity items. You’ll need more weapons and power too, as you meet more types of enemies.

Orcs Must Die! 2 is basically more of the same, but this time around you can also play a cooperative mode with a friend, which is a great addition. If you enjoyed the first game, you’ll certainly be happy with this. The multiplayer mode is the icing on the cake that makes this a really great action tower defence game.

Orcs Must Die! 2 is a really enjoyable tower defense game, that mixes tactics, speed and humor into a fantastic orc-killing package.
