The goal of developers was to create a writing environment that is not only distraction free, but conducive to concentration. The interface is very clean and simple, and it darkens the rest of your screen so you can focus on the writing. There are also a number of backgrounds and sounds incorporated into the app that, according to the developer, promote and enhance creativity.

A Great Concentration Aid

Generally speaking, OmmWriter does everything it sets out to do, with most users reporting the app being great for concentration. There is some trade off, however. The simplicity of the app means there are less formatting options, and less formats to export to. It would also be nice to have more control over the audio and visual components.
