Okey is a tile-based game with a long history and many variations. It is played mainly in coffee houses by people of all ages. It is very similar to Rummy or Rummikub as it uses the same sets of boards but with different rules.

The gameplay of Okey is very simple and intuitive. A player can quickly learn how to play and has the option of playing the game in a number of different modes.

Okey has a 106-tile set that is used to form the board. A player is allowed to choose one tile from the set and place it on the board, and then the rest of the tiles are placed in a way that ensures that the player will have a valid board.

When a player has a valid board, they can choose to discard one tile to the center of the table. This is used as a reminder of the joker tiles in the game.
