Notion is a bright idea for working in harmony

Getting a whole team, or even just two people, to work in harmony can be a lot harder than it sounds. When you’re managing several team members, remote workers or just needing a shared space to hash out ideas, the complications mount up quickly. Notion is a great example of a free platform for working in a shared space, including text, images and more. This kind of software make it much easier to collaborate.

Real-time document sharing

The basic idea of Notion is that several people can log in to a web page with a built-in word processor, allowing anyone with an internet connection (and permission) to access and change the document. Google Docs offers a similar service, which may put people off trying Notion, but this software has some nice touches that make it worth checking out. This web app offers real-time editing and creating of over 30 content types, including various image formats and file uploads. Keeping everything in one place is very useful and you can even create task lists, with drag and drop management. If needed, the last version of a document can still be read and used offline.

Useful but not revolutionary

Notion doesn’t do much that alternatives like Docs doesn’t do already. However, if you want to get away from the big companies and go indie, this is a solid choice. This is also a very minimal platform without gimmicks and unnecessary cross-platform additions.
