Control the web content your kids can access
If your children, younger siblings or any other kids in your household have access to the internet, you should keep an eye on their activities online.
Norman Parental Control makes this task easier than it seems. This app works as a kind of firewall, blocking out content that shouldn’t reach the computer when a kid is using it.
After a long, painful installation, Norman Parental Control will ask you to create an Administrator profile – the person who can configure the program and define browsing limitations for other users. Then you’ll be able to create separate profiles, one for each user. Norman Parental Control already includes two pre-defined profiles, Child and Teenager, with different blocking and filtering options. It also keeps a log with all the computer activity from the past seven days.
While Norman Parental Control may be handy to control what kids do on the computer, it fell short of our expectations. It would have been nice to have a more detailed log file, more filtering options and in general, more advanced settings.
If you’re worried about what your kids get up to when they go online, try Norman Parental Control.
