Free New Vegas weather mod
Nevada Skies is a free weather system modification for Fallout: New Vegas that adds new weather effects to the game. There are over 400 effects from which you can choose, giving you incredible flexibility. It also has DLC integration so that it can work with any add-ons you have for NV.
However, it’s incompatible with other weather mods, so you’ll need to uninstall them first before you can use Nevada Skies. There will be a conflict in the game, and it may not launch correctly. If you’re looking for mods that complement this one and work well with it, you can try Semi-transparent Door Glass, NV Translucency Overhaul, NMCs Texture Pack For New Vegas, and The Great Mojave Interior Overhaul.
Change the weather in Fallout: New Vegas
If you’ve played Fallout: New Vegas long enough, you’ve most likely have become bored of the same scenery and weather within the game. To add new life to the title, Nevada Skies gives you the power to choose from over 400 weather special effects. You can also customize them to your liking, which is a feature that many similar mods lack.
Integrates with DLCs
The one concern many players have with new mods is whether they are compatible with downloadable content for Fallout: New Vegas. Luckily, Nevada Skies performs superbly well, just as the developer designed them to do. There are even other mods that require this one to work, such as Caesar’s ENB, Felina ENB, Frosty ENB, and NEVADA ENB – Realism.
Nevada Skies system requirements

- JohnnyGuitar NVSE
- The Mod Configuration Menu Optional
- User Interface Organizer
The only off-site requirement is xNVSE 6.1 or higher.
