A free sports app for league stats
Navscore is a free sports mobile app that allows you to easily check the API statistics of various sports leagues. Developed by Nav Gem, this convenient app lets you see analytical data that can be the predicted or expected result in any sports event—be it the big leagues or just some minor competition.
Navscore does so by allowing you to closely follow the results of the events themselves. Similar to theScore, it shows all the data regarding the matches that happened—from soccer goals won to successful basketball blocks. This is a great app to try out if you need quick and easy reports.
To win and to lose
Navscore offers all the features that you can expect from most sports score apps. It shows the schedules of the various sports leagues being held, such as the NBA, UFC, and La Liga. Past events that have recently ended will also show up. You can choose which of these leagues you want to follow and be alerted once the matches air and once they’ve just ended. You can also choose specific teams to follow if you’re interested in just them.
You can access the reports of each finished match and see the statistics collected. The app lets you watch streams of the matches that you want to see, as well. You can cast it to your TV if you have a compatible TV box but sometimes, it can be hard to toggle it to fullscreen mode. Plus, the ads tend to obscure a good chunk of the screen. Since it’s a free app, there’s bound to be a good number of them constantly popping up, too.
A fan’s handy companion
The app’s user interface is simple but pretty intuitive and not too confusing. However, there’s not much else you can find on the screen aside from schedules. The main menu is comprised of this and is divided into 6 sections: Leagues & Competitions, Champions League, Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, and Bundesliga. The rest of the options can found via the top-left corner button. The contents here change depending on whether you’re logged into an account or not.
You can still use some of the app’s basic features without having to register for an account, but a lot of the useful tools won’t be accessible for you. You can only browse fixture reports and statistics. Thus, watching replays, casting videos to your compatible TV, and even following teams and competitions are locked until you create an account for the app. Fortunately, it’s easy to register since you just need to create a username and input your email address and password.
Reliable enough
All in all, Navscore is a fan-favorite sports app for a good reason. Not only does it allow you to accurately follow live score updates and league matches but it also offers videos of the matches so you can catch up with the action. Plus, it’s free to use and can be operated even without an account—although using features other than the fixture reports will require you to create one.
