MyChart is an essential health and fitness application developed by Epic Systems Corporation for iOS devices. Here, you will have easy access to not only you but also your family member’s health information. All important health data including test results, medications, immunization history, etc. can be reviewed here. You can now have close communication with your care team. Scheduling and managing either virtual or in-person appointments will now be effortlessly done through this app. 

How do I download my MyChart?

Every after your hospital visit or stay, you will receive an ‘After Visit Summary’ with any clinical notes recorded by your health provider. Medical bills are possible to be viewed and paid here also. To install this app into your iOS device, you must go first to Apple App Store, search MyChart, and start the download process. Once installed,  you will then launch the downloaded application and when prompted, make sure to accept the ‘End User License Agreement.’ 

You can now proceed with searching for your healthcare organization after allowing the app to access your location. You can also opt to go to your healthcare organization’s MyChart website. Either way will bring you to the login screen. You will have to enter your ‘username’ and ‘password’ to log in. A more efficient option to use when signing in is to turn on Face ID, Touch ID, or a four-digit passcode 

You no longer need to enter your username and password each time you’ll use the app. It provides you to push notifications in order to keep tabs on every new information added to your account. To start receiving notices, you must ensure that you have it enabled. You can check it under your account settings within the app. It is also important to connect your account to your iOS device’s Apple Health.
