Cross-platform turn-based cartoon game
Munchkin Digital is a lighthearted 2D cartoon game that has been based on the well-known tabletop platform of the same name. The main goal is to collect loot located throughout a dungeon without getting killed by a series of monsters that await.
Munchkin Digital contains certain turn-based strategy elements that are associated with other bundles, such as Might and Magic Heroes VI. However, this iteration employs digital cards that need to be collected in order to perform tasks such as opening doors and obtaining character upgrades.
A well-known game
Munchkin Digital is essentially an upgrade of the popular real-world card game. One major difference is that this platform does not place as great of an emphasis on role-playing. Note that both single-player and online co-op gameplay settings are supported by this version.
Fun weapons to yield
Players can equip themselves with an array of innovative weapons. Examples include (but are not limited to) the Boots of Butt-Kicking, the Horny Helmet, and the Staff of Napalm. These will then be used to vanquish foes, such as the Drooling Slime and the Potted Plant. Eventually, users will have to square off with a boss named the Plutonium Dragon.
A classic turn-based feel
This game will progress through a series of rounds. Each of these rounds will award players with door and treasure cards. As the names might suggest, these can then be used to unlock new levels and acquire valuables. Likewise, cards can be collected in order to be activated at the appropriate time.
A lighthearted sense of fun
The card-oriented gameplay of Munchkin Digital shares many features in common with other family-friendly RPGs, such as Digimon Card Game. The inclusion of a fair amount of humor also signifies that this bundle is suitable for all ages.
