A puzzle simulation game about building rockets
Multia Space Program is a puzzle simulation game where the player can build a rocket out of old junk. It is technically a prequel to another game by the developer called Project Ultra, though it is not necessary to have played that game to understand this one. The player must explore the small town in search of rocket parts.
The basic premise of this game is similar to that of Kerbal Space Program 2, though Multia Space Program is far more limited in terms of what can be built. There is also a hidden story for the player to uncover.
Build rockets from junk
Multia Space Program takes place in a small town in Finland called Multia, though the design of the town in-game is not precise due to technical limitations. The player can explore the town and, in doing so, they will find junk to use for building one of three rockets. The parts discovered will determine which rocket can be built.
Narrative and endings
The game features a hidden story for the player to uncover, though they will have to go exploring to find it. There are also multiple endings (three to be exact), with the rockets built determining what ending is shown. This also gives the game a degree of replayability.
A limited experience
Multia Space Program is more of an exploration game than a true puzzle game, though there are puzzle elements. It is quite short in length, so players shouldn’t expect much in terms of depth of content. Still, the developer has stated they may add more content to the game going forward. The game does not feature any violence or unsettling themes that would make it unsuitable for younger players.
