Track your cycling performance
MTB Hangtime is a free mobile application from Ryland Lueders that’s designed to track every aspect of your ride using your phone’s GPS, gyroscope, accelerometer, and altimeter. Once you’ve recorded your ride, you can analyze your performance, including jumps, turns, and climbs.
Like other mountain bike tracking applications, such as Strava: Run Ride Swim and Ascent, MTB Hangtime lets you follow previously recorded rides and generates charts and graphs to help you improve your next ride.
In-depth riding feedback
An all-in-one mountain biking app, MTB Hangtime targets nearly all aspects of your ride to track and record your performance. The segments feature “back matches” previous ride segments. It then compares them to determine your personal record (PR) and king of the mountain (KOM). You can also see an outline of the route and elevation profile.
MTB Hangtime also does an excellent job of tracking your jumps and turns. After completing your ride, you can analyze the pitch, roll, and yaw of your bike. With this information, you can see where you rank on the leaderboard and find your historical stats.
Just mount your phone and go
MTB Hangtime relies on your phone’s internal calibration settings to measure your riding distance, jump height, and so many other finer details that help you perfect your ride. With the app running, all you need to do is mount your phone to your bike before setting off on your ride to track your performance.
After your ride, you’ll find a wealth of information and data presented in an accessible and easy-to-view way. MTB Hangtime generates charts and compares your stats to others in leaderboards and simple numbers.
