Motorola Gallery is a free-to-use multimedia tool from Motorola Mobility LLC. This gallery app lets you view and share your photos and videos, with options for editing and personalization. More importantly, this offers an immersive experience with an interactive full-screen display.

Additionally, Motorola Gallery even integrates with your social media accounts and lets you create your highlight reels, tagging the people appearing in them. For all its immersion and interactivity, this app has limited capabilities for devices that aren’t Moto X Pure, Moto X Style, and Moto X Play. For the peak Motorola experience

Since it was designed for Motorola handsets, Motorola Gallery works well for the models it was intended for. Certain features, particularly the full power of its highlight reel creation, are not available for other device models. Still, it offers an immersive gallery viewing experience for everyone using the app. Unlike other apps that offer photos in tiles of the same sizes, this allows you to customize how these images appear.

Beyond the limited device support, the app itself is packaged in a way that makes it easy to use and customize. Its streamlined layout doesn’t depart much from the usual gallery app appearance. The app also lets users edit photos. With this, you can also add filters or frames through its photo editing toolbar. Despite being in a limited capacity, you can also instantly share it on your social media.

The main problem with this app, however, is its sync issues with other gallery apps. Motorola handsets don’t usually come with this app pre-installed, which could push users into going with the default Gallery app for Android, or Google Photos as a part of the Google Suite. The gap between these apps means that they don’t always share the same content, despite those media files being right on your phone.

Motorola Gallery aims to be a next-level gallery app, with its connectivity and personalization options. Edit photos and filters and frames or create your own highlight reels and instantly share them on your favorite social media platforms. Unfortunately, it only works for selected Motorola models, and even then, it has a couple of problems keeping the content updated and synchronized with other similar apps.
