Convert your documents to printable image files

One way to share your documents across different computers with different applications running is to convert them into images. After installation on your PC, Miraplacid Publisher appears as a new virtual printer in your system. All the documents you print to this “printer” will be opened in a preview dialog.

You can scale the image, adjust the hue, saturation and value and easily get rid of unused white borders as well as other minor image processing tasks. Then you can save the resulting images to disk, upload to FTP or HTTP server, email, or print them to a real printer. Miraplacid Publisher supports PDF, JPEG, GIF, TIFF, BMP, PNG, TGA and Web Presentation so all possible angles are covered. When redirecting to a printer, reduce saturation to save color cartridge or increase value to save black ink.

The quickest way you’ll find to uses Miraplacid Publisher 2008 is to drag documents to the desktop shortcut which automatically prints the documents in the background. You can even activate an “Auto Send” function if you want Miraplacid Publisher to send images to a specific destination immediately.

As far as document sharing and quick and easy printing to a virtual printer go, this is an excellent application.
