A turn-based fantasy role-playing game
Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven is a turn-based role-playing game (RPG) that was originally released in 1998. It features a band of adventurers as they journey across several locations and battle with a host of hostile entities. This particular release is part of a six-pack with other games in the franchise.
Might and Magic VI> The Mandate of Heaven is the sixth game in the Might and Magic series and can be likened to The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall in theme and visuals. The six-pack that this game is part of includes the other Might and Magic games up to IV, including Might and Magic V.
Fight powerful alien beings
The story of Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven takes place in the fantasy world of Enroth, where mysterious alien beings in the middle of a 1,500-year war have crashed down onto the surface of the planet. Saved from certain death at the hands of the alien beings, the player and their band of adventurers are trained and set out into the world.
3D open-world exploration
The game world of Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven features a non-linear story and an open-world 3D design that allows the player to choose their own path. The inclusion of side quests also adds replayability to the game.
A classic RPG
Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven is undoubtedly a classic RPG game with a strong following even today. Its age does show, however, mostly in the visuals and NPC animations. That being said, it should still prove entertaining for fans of the original and fans of the genre in general.
