Battle evil in this turn based strategy RPG
Might & Magic Heroes VI is a turn-based strategy game. The action takes place four centuries before the story in the previous game, as a legendary general aiming to defeat the Griffin dynasty is preparing for a demon invasion.
In the single player campaign, you’ll play a duke of the Griffin dynasty, fighting evil and battling for control of the lands of Ashan. The story is quite convoluted, but essentially comes down to a battle between good and evil. Might & Magic Heroes VI looks great, with detailed graphics and well animated armies. The turn based action is based on grids that you move your pieces around during battles, and while it may look complicated, Might & Magic Heroes VI is surprisingly easy to get into.
The main issue with the game is its similarity to Might & Magic Heroes V – the story may be different, and the graphics improved, but the game remains pretty similar. For fans, this will be no bad thing, as the series has its addictive turn based gameplay really finely tuned. The plot if fairly standard fantasy fare, but as long as you enjoy fantasy and strategy, you’ll love Might & Magic Heroes VI.
It doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but Might & Magic Heroes VI is still a really well polished turn based strategy RPG.
