A free mobile sandbox game

Master Craft – New Crafting game is a free simulation mobile video game wherein you can create a blocky world with the power of your imagination. This 3D sandbox game is considered a free clone of the hit pixelated RPG, Minecraft, but contains ads that annoyingly pop up frequently to support itself. Unlike some of the other “craft” games on mobile, this one doesn’t have a lot of unique features to make it stand out.

Nothing really special

Minecraft is a 2011 sandbox video game originally created by Markus “Notch” Persson and developed by Mojang Studios. In this highly-successful game, you can explore and even create a blocky and pixelated procedurally-generated 3D world. Its main campaign is a survival mode wherein you have to gather resources and defeat enemies to stay alive for as long as possible. The success of this game eventually led to several copycat games.

Master Craft – New Crafting game is another clone that you can get for free. However, unlike Craftsman: Building Craft or RealmCraft, there’s nothing really special with this one that sets it apart from Minecraft. Other than it being free to play offline, it offers the same classic features. You have a Survival Mode and a Creative Mode. You can harvest resources, craft items and weapons, defeat roaming enemies, and create various blocky structures.

This game is riddled with problems, though. For one, it often crashes. Ads frequently play, as well—and this can be a great battery drainer due to the frequency of the ads. Objects often glitch out and the textures in the game look cheap compared to other copycat games. Plus, there’s no offered multiplayer mode. The app also asks for your permission to use the storage, contacts, and location-tracking, for some reason.

A cheap version

All in all, Master Craft – New Crafting game is one alternative if you want other Minecraft clones but it’s not a highly-recommended one. It has far too many issues for players to have a decent amount of fun. Some of its major problems stem from its unstable application and intrusive ads. You’re better off trying other blocky games or just getting Minecraft itself.
