New in Main Menu Reshaped
Main menu overhauls have become a common modding activity in recent game updates. Mainly, this is because of the fact that there are so many changes in every update, which users have to adapt to. Main menu overhauls change the interface to give users a more dynamic experience, by giving them easier access to the game’s most important features such as crafting, collecting and fighting. But this major revamp has come with some equally important changes – Main Menu ReShaped, which is the new name given to the new Interactive Main Menu.
The new Interactive Main Menu, or Main Menu Reshaped as it is also known, is a lot different than any other main menu you’ve seen before. This is because it’s been completely redone from scratch and is all based on the user’s preferences, which have been customised according to their gamer profiles. Unlike previous Main Menu overhauls, where all menus were drawn in flat colours, the new Interactive Main Menu has an animated backdrop, making it look more natural and giving it a 3D effect. The change is made especially easy with the fact that there are separate downloads for both the main game and the user’s profile folder, which allows the player to select the best one for their profile. This means that those with lower end systems will get a lesser experience, and vice versa, those with high end systems should get the best experience.
To help create a more dynamic experience, the new Interactive Main Menu contains three dimensional icons, giving the impression of more depth to the game interface. For example, there is a smithing ingredient icon in addition to the usual enchanted weapon and food icons that appear on your cookery menu. Users can also swap between the two menus, which gives the impression that one menu will replace the other when you’re out of ingredients or food. In addition, the game now loads faster and uses less memory, as well as using much less bandwidth. All these changes result in a Main Menu that is not only more engaging, but more exciting than ever.
