Cute game about delivering mail

Mail Time is a premium adventure title made by an indie developer named Kela van der Deijl. In this charming cartoon-like game, players take on the role of a newly trained mail scout. They will explore a vast forest, befriend its animal inhabitants, and make sure all letters and packages get delivered.

Just like Hokko Life and Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure, there is an air of whimsy and flamboyance to Mail Time. It provides a wholesome and relaxing time that anyone can experience and enjoy. The game isn’t released yet but you can play its demo.

An eager mail scout

Mail Time revolves around the adventures of you, a newly trained mail scout, preparing for your very first delivery run. Set in the cozy forest of Grumblewood Grove, you will put on your mushroom hat, carry a big backpack of letters and packages, and off you go. Learn the ropes, master the art of efficient delivery, and earn your Mail Scout Badges.

Featuring a robust character creation system, the game lets you customize yourself with over 46,000 possible combinations using six skin tone types and a whole range of colors. Once you’re ready, set off for your adventure through the forest’s multiple distinct biomes. Meet and interact with 15 quirky characters, each having their own unique story to share. Some will even ask for your help with their woes.

There is some light platforming that will have you jump and glide through various obstacles and challenges as you make your deliveries. The badges you earn can be used to upgrade your gliding ability, too. Sadly, the game is not out yet, with no specific release date either. You’ll have to wait a bit longer for more news and announcements via its Steam page.

Delivering mail never felt so relaxing

If you need a break from all the action and grind of shooters and RPGs, Mail Time got you covered. It serves as a nice palette cleanser of sorts, providing a cozy and relaxing experience. It has cute graphics, charming characters, and gameplay that is just the right amount of chill. This is one that pretty much anyone can enjoy. Highly recommended.
