The gameplay is very simple. The objective is to clear the board by matching tiles with the same picture.

It is possible to play with more than one player, but the gameplay is still the same.

The gameplay is easy to learn but can prove to be very challenging, especially when playing with a lot of tiles.

Mahjong Unlimited is able to generate almost unlimited number of games from any layout with solutions, not just shuffling tiles based on a limited number of preloaded game sequence or simply randomizing tiles to generate a game that may not be solvable.
