Metronome for up to 240 beats per minute

If you can’t put your hands on a metronome to keep your musical tempo in check, then why not use your Mac to do the job for you?

It’s a darn sight cheaper than buying your own and is just as easy to use. MacMetronome enables you to choose from a variety of sounds such as snare, hi-hat and rim shot to keep tempo of up to 240 beats per minute which should be enough for all musicians other than those into Speed Garage or Gabba.

Simply click “Start” to get it going and “Stop” when you’re done. The interface is a little disappointing – I was expecting a nice wooden metronome but MacMetronome is more like a graphic equalizer. There are absolutely no preferences to choose from but at least you can choose from different instruments
