There are some people who are going to play Lumber Tycoon 2 and wonder what all the fuss is about. It is not an action packed game. In fact, it is as close as a game comes to doing chores (or an honest day’s work), but Lumber Tycoon 2 is great to play because it gives you an open world and a sandbox world in which you are able to work as a lumberjack.

Lumber Tycoon 2 is more fun than it ever should be. If you have ever loved any of the popular “Tycoon” games, from Airplane Tycoon to Monopoly Tycoon, then you will love this game. The game was hated at first because it was so different from the other Roblox games, but it is stupidly fun. For example, you are able to put your wood into a processor and have it turned into custom-sized planks, and you have to put each log into the back of your van by hand. This may sound irritating and frustrating to some people, but to others it is viciously engaging and difficult to put down. Even watching other people do it on YouTube is addictive. Then having to drive your logs in your van to the WoodRUs is fun. You may have as many as six other players in your world at the same time, and they are all doing mostly what you are doing.

This is not a game full of action. It is a game about doing chores and watching other people doing chores. The open world feel of the game is one of its biggest appeals, along with the fact you are able to work in the manner you see fit in order to cut down and process wood.
